Rokcommon Error when Updating PHP

    • Hi,

I am able to select multiple versions of php through my cpanel with host. Currently I am using PHP version 5.3.27, and when I attempt to upgrade to 5.4.21 I receive an rokcommon error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in .. /public_html/libraries/rokcommon/include.php on line 24

I unwittingly made the mistake of disabling the rokcommon plugins already and locked myself out of the site. I got it back though and thought to inquire on this and also for your advice. Should I go to php version 5.4.21 if able to resolve this issue? Is it beneficial since my host allows the option of choosing?

Note: I'm using rokcommon 3.1.7 and my Joomla version is 3.2.1

      Thank you
