    SOLVED Menu Order

    • Hi,
      I can't reorder menu items by pushing them up and down in joomla 2.5.16

      Is there a fix for this?

      2. I turned them on in the order I wanted them to appear and some of my menu paths have 404 errors and have this strange "private message" in the path and produces a dead link.

      When I look in the backend they are pointing to the correct article.

      Can you help with this please.

    • 1. click on the "ordering" column in menu manager then use the little arrows to move items up or down.

      2. Could you please post a URL to your site so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

    • Hi, for some reason I can't see why one of my menu items and the associated drop is ordered correctly by alpha... but erratically in the browser...

      the url is... www.paaf.net and the menu item is "membership" - I have it as 3 columns -drop down width 810 and 270 width per column.

      Thanks... just can't see it...as I said, it is showing alphabetically on the admin side.

    • I believe I have it remedied. I had to select the menu item, then go to the side and select order ascending. Then manually move the items to the correct position.
