JRE Cache accelerator and Rocketlauncher

Okay, retarded question, but I have to ask. I noticed that with the default rocket launcher setup, under components, JRE Cache accelerator was listed. Now, is it enabled by default? There are two options, re-install index.php or restore original index.php. Should I just leave everything how it is. It is working fine, but I was just wondering what I should do. And the folder path to the cache, should I adjust that to the cache folder under the joomla installation?
