SOLVED Kunena / JomSocial Integration + RT

I am confused at why RocketTheme does not already support Kunena, JomSocial, and other 3rd party extensions in their designs, it would most certainly be nice to see these overrides included.
I tried doing one on my own and failed epically. For a site I'm building that will include both of those extensions, I had to force myself to pick another template club because I can't seem to get them to work properly with RT.
I know that we're all supposed to be hush-hush about Kunena on these forums (apparently) but in a more general sense, is there any traction for integrating 3rd party exensions into your designs?

I am not sure why do you think that you are supposed to be a hush-hush about Kunena here? As you can see, we also use it as our main forum
Maybe in the future we will provide Kunena specific styling, but this needs yet to be decided. Regarding JomSocial, I personally use it with RT templates without any issues so I don't understand what seems to be a problem - Check my services at: Mihha-Vision

The only reason I ask is becuase folks have apparently been asking for the same thing (Kunena styling) for about
three years
. I'm putting my money on the fact that you guys created your own overrides in the RT3 template in order to test what it takes to do so, but I have yet to see anything official about it. Nearly every other club I'm a member of has this specific feature and they advertise it, in addition to all their other 3rd party integrations (e.g. K2, Virtuemart, JomSocial etc.)
As for JomSocial are you saying that there are no overrides and it works fine, or that there are overrides and they work fine?

Anyways, yeah JomSocial does work fine, but I was just more curious about Kunena specifically, and why RT doesn't promote its 3rd party integrations like other clubs do (not that you guys should or that you have to, I'm just curious). - Last Edit: 11 years 2 months ago by midgard.li.
