Bought a template before the update do I need to pay again?

- I bought a single Magento template before the update and have been developing a website since and have bumped into an issue with the template that includes categories not displaying correctly, does that now mean I need to pay an extra $85 or so just to get membership for support about this issue? If so this is one expensive template haha, thanks.
