Bitnami / missing css

Hello,
I am about to learn Gantry and I am setting things up on my machine with bitnami. When I try to install the free theme from the gantry framework website to play with it I get this message:
"The theme is missing the <code>style.css</code> stylesheet"
umm...What is causing this and what is the fix?
I tried addins a style.css file of my own ...but seems that is not the solution

- It's been a loooonnngggg time since I made a custom template with the default gantry template... you may have better luck on the actual Gantry forum/google group... install the full bundle with gantry and the default template for sure
- SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT
