    SOLVED Template(s) upgrade from J 2.5.x to J 3.3.x

    • Hallo.
      I have a question about the correct RT template/Gantry/plug-ins upgrade workflow from J2.5.x to J3.3.x.

      Of course on my websites with J2.5.x I'm using RT Templates and plug-ins for J2.5.

      For template customization I use the custom.css file all the times (a great time-saving feature BTW).

      Do the new (J3) templates versions share the same modules positions of the J2.5 templates?

      Do the previous custom.css files work the new J3 templates?

      Thank you for your help and advices.

    • yes.

      But... J3.3.0 is still pretty new and it does seem to have a couple of bugs, personally I always wait a month before updating any joomla to latest versions and keep an eye on the forums for issues that others experience. That said, it's your decision of course - just make sure you make a backup before updating anything.

    • Please use the "contact us" link if you are not getting email notifcations and tell support that - they're working for me so I don't know why they wouldn't be working for you - have you checked your junk mail folder too? and have you checked your email address on your profile is still correct?
