  • SOLVED Cannot Adjust 2MB Upload Limit

    • I am unable to upload an extension update due to the 2MB upload limit.

      I added php_value upload_max_filesize 16M to my .htaccess, but no luck.

      The PHP configuration on my server says the upload limit is 16M, but Joomla 2.5.20 still tells me the upload limit is 2M.
      (See screenshots below)

      Does anyone have any other suggestions on how I can change my upload limit.
      Joomla did not recognize there was a RokGallery update, so I'm trying to manually update RokGallery but the upload limit is stopping me.

      First time to ever run into this issue, have you seen this before?

    • Hi there,

      Some hosts will not allow htaccess to override the server setting. Check that your host is not causing the problem.

      You could also go to content > media manager and click on options at top right of screen and ensure that your 2M is not coming from there.
