    • Okay, I've been trying for 4 hours to get the freaking random image module to work. I guess I am an idiot because I just cant make it work I've read everything and can't find a detailed instruction guide on how to make this work . I think I am getting stuck where your supposed to enter a Module Class Suffix. I am early in the learning process and need someone to take me by the hand and walk me through this. I'm lost when it comes to adding to the .css file. Where do I begin, am i overcomplicating this?

      Thanks
      Terry

    • I am still not able to get my pics to load. Where should I have my images? In the media folder or somewhere else on my host server? Can someone provide a detailed example of the mapping I should be using. Please

    • First: You need to navigate to images/stories and create a new folder inside this folder.

      example: images/stories/photos1

Second: Upload your images to the new folder you created.

Third: Login to your admin panel and open the module manager.

      ie. Modules/Site Modules

Fourth: Open the Random Image modules and set up you module properly.

      example:
Image Type = the type of images you uploaded (gif, jpg, png, etc.)(I recommend that all images be the same type).
Image Folder = the folder that we just created. In our example it was images/stories/photos1
Image width = 200 (the width of the images)
Image height = 150 (the height of your images)

Fifth: make sure the module is published to a valid module position

      Now you should be set!

      More Advice:
      - Use images of the same type (gif, jpb, etc.)
      - Use images of the same height and width (200X150 etc.)
      - Try to keep images as small (60kb or smaller) as possible. (This will ensure fast loads of your pages).

      I hope this helps!
