Template Install

Hi
Just joined up, have installed Joomla on our server and maybe naively of me I thought that downloading the template and installing it, the site would look like the template that I viewed on Live Demos, however the template has installed but it has the content of the origional default content. The template I installed was Digitalether but its content is the same as the default content when I installed Joomla.
Do I have to go and completely reset the template, this would seem to negate the reasons for the template in the first place, or is there a 'start again' command which would install the new template and it's content.

Hi !
If it's a fresh install and you had no content before, it's normal that you have the original default content.
You have to add your own content, change menus, etc. You can take the demo like an example if you want, but it's content doesn't come with the template. - Yves
