SOLVED RT templates now a bit similar to each other? Module variations lacking

This is not meant to be a moaning post or anything but looking through the last 10 or more templates, they are looking a bit similar to each other in terms of the design elements. EG. Look at the Module Variation page in each template, most of them are rectangles with no curved corners and hardly any unusual or interesting variations.
Yes, I know I can use CSS to do the curves but I just feel in the past the RT templates were more distinct from each other.
Is this 'everthing square/rectangles with no curves' style in fansion now or something?
Again, no moan intended, with good content these templates should still look good but I'm interested in your opinions on this, even better from a RT dev

If you dig a little deeper there are quite a few functional differences between those templates - these differences were instigated from member requests and we do try to fulfil requests from our members. Yes, fashion comes and goes and a lot of what we're producing is currently fashionable (e.g. full page images, animations, more spacing, cleaner and clearer text). But, it's also fair to say that a lot of development effort is currently being prioritised on to Gantry 5 (beta currently available to try out). I think you'll find that the new templates based upon Gantry 5 will definitely "break the mould" and offer far more flexibility in terms of design.
Please bear with us, I think the next template will be more appealing for you.
Finally, yes you're right a little CSS on any of the latest templates can quickly alter some of the visual elements of the design and make it look quite different - If you need any help with this please just ask in the appropriate forum.

So I'm looking at Cygnet, Audacity, Sirocco, Iridescent and Myriad and to me they look NOTHING like each other. Each template has its own little additon of techno-wizardy to give our members the best looking and templates out there.
Like you I like curves So I just cheat and copy the Box CSS's from the CSS files of the older templates
