    Folder Structure

Posted 9 years 11 months ago
    • I've been working with this wonderful crew for a while now, but one thing I've always wondered what the consensus was on whether to follow the same Rocket launcher folder structure or create their own. You know, where to place site images mainly. I'm no the fence as to create my own structure or keeping with the sample that is provided.

      Thanks
      Tom

    • I personally don't like my images buried in the template... I always store images in relative sub-folders within the main /root/images folder...

there's anecdotes of google liking that approach a little better too... that your media is organized from your root directory in a logical way that might make it easy for people to "manually" browse your site in a logical way... with useful category (folder) names and file names...
