hi there,
i must give visitors of my site the possibility to disable google tracking.
i will place a link and run a short script
i have to place code before google analytics code runs.
which file i have to edit?

Well you could edit the templates index.php file - but a better way might be to use one of the extensions available on JED to dynamically add in your additional script into the head tag (e.g. headtag or "headscript").
If you choose to overwrite the templates index.php remember that it will be overwritten again by template updates.

I'm not sure what you are adding in - please provide me with a link to the intructions you are following and i'll look into it.
