Multilingual Questions - Need Help

I'm building a multi lingual site using Requiem Gantry 5 template. I have multi lingual installed and functioning, I followed the instructions to setup content/menu/template outlines for each language, my language switcher shows and switches languages. That part is good.
Here is where it get's tricky. This website has two brands/color schemes with two sets of possible languages.
Brand A - yellow header - will be in English and Spanish
Brand B - blue header - will be in Eng,Sp, Ital, Fr
I'm getting confused by some things and wondering if this is even possible. The sticky part is english, which appears in both brands.
So if the user hit the landing page/branch page and chooses Brand A, then switching the language would keep them in brand A
On the otherhand, if the user chooses Brand B, switches the language, but should stay in brand B
To accomplish this my intention was to create a menu and outline for every scenario.
A-En, A-SP
B-En,Sp,It,Fr
I was also going to look at overriding the language switcher module so it would only display 2 languages for brand A.
I'm getting a little confused though on how to deal with the brand split and all the language/brand possiblities and wondering if what I'm trying to do is not possible. That I might be forced to build two separate sites for each brand.
Can anyone give me some feedback on this that has experience with multilanguage websites.

I have no experience with this... where my head goes though is either using subdomains and multiple Joomla installs or getting real tricky with your CSS....
2 Joomla Installs:
domain.com = Landing Page with 2 Brands
brand1.domain.com ~ Eng/Spanish MultiLanguage Site
brand2.domain.com ~ Eng/Sp/It/Fr Multilanguage Site
Otherwise you *might* be able to use Custom CSS to target based off of the language set in your <html> tag which then targets the language Switcher/Header Color to be a certain color and hide languages your don't want to show... I'm not sure how you'd handle the 2 Englishes though... I do think you can duplicate/create a custom language though... so mabye a en-GB and en-GB2 would work... or you could use Page Classes in your Custom CSS to further refine your targetting and hiding/showing of stuff - Last Edit: 9 years 6 months ago by Matt.

Matt, thanks so much for your reply.
So the duplicate language might be what I'm stuck on. Didn't know you could do that. I've installed Chameleon rules engine and have already tested that to be able to set the correct outline/menu/lang based upon IP as well as sniff the default browser language.
I'm tempted to break this into 2 sites but there is some content that I'd like to share between them.
