  • Slideshow using Rok Sprocket or Flex Slider Particle

    • I have a client and we are using the Salient Template... They are wanting slide show similar to what we see on the top of this example site:

      www.dmschools.org/

      Would this be best accomplished using Roksprocket or Flex Slider particle?

      Client wants it to be easy to use and they want it to make the images fit a specific ratio...

      Thoughts?

      If rok sprocket I am using Easy Blog 5...

    • It depends... where do you want to source the content from? If you use a flexslider you can only put it in the particle and therefore will have to teach your client about editing particle in the backend (particles can't be edited frontend). Roksprocket is a very powerful extension and you can source the data from several different providers... you still can't edit content frontedn with roksprocket either but once set-up you client will probably not need to touch the roksprocket, rather just the place the data is sourced from (e.g. joomla articles).
