SSL Problem (Error with http/https )

Posted 8 years 11 months ago
    • I have a blog into http url but it sometimes changes automatically to https url and makes an error occur. Browsers especially Internet Explorer consider my blog unsecure and ask me if I want to continue or not. I have zero info about that and can't find any solution since last week. I am not sure exactly what it's about but maybe someone here can help me with that. I am using Myriad theme by the way. Thanks in advance

    • Hi Yasin,

Is your blog part of Joomla or is it external such as Blogger etc.?

If the latter then many of them are on https:// as a default from the provider. If you then import that to your Joomla site then the browsers will warn that you are viewing secure content on a non-secure site.

Your blog should be written in Joomla and then exported elsewhere if you want to avoid these problems.

      Hope this helps 8)
