    • Can someone please tell me how to turn these help pop up screens off? I'm annoyed beyond comprehension and can't figure out how to turn them off.

    • Looks like you have a network or performance issue. Those popups should be controlled by css/javascript, in other words, it is client side and has little to do with Joomla. To confirm this, you can try open your back-end in another computer and see if it behaves the same way. By the way, you'd better upgrade to Joomla 3.

    • Thanks SO MUCH! I'll check out on another browser asap.

As far as the update goes. On my administration screen, it says that NO UPDATES AVAILABLE. And that I'm on 2.5.28.

      How can I update?

    • There are some suggestions I can give:

      1. I believe there are some step by step guide regarding upgrade 2.5 to 3 out there, on Joomla official forum, maybe even here in RT. However, I remember how painful the process was for me... because at some point my outcome was different from the guide. Eventually I succeeded though.

      2. Maybe you can ask you host provider see if they offer this service.

    • dspakes - Please note that by the other member answering your post it takes you out of the MODS "unanswered posts" queue and therefore you might have to wait longer for a response.

I am currently going through the list of "unsolved" topics that are old. Do you still require assistance with this or is it now solved?

If your issue is now solved, please EDIT your FIRST POST in this thread by adding [SOLVED] at the start of the title and then select the TICK icon. This lets the moderators know that it can be moved to the solved section.

If you can't edit the first post this will be because it is more than 7 days old, so please reply stating that the topic can be closed and a moderator will do this for you.

      Regards, Mark.
