[closed] Load fails if site is set offline

- I just moved to a new server and set a number of sites offline to ensure I could get to them and get them updated before anyone went to them. I found that on every single one there was a redirect loop for all sites set to offline. This is using the latest version of Gantry, might be worth looking into..

- Can you please clarify? What error message were you seeing exactly? This was just upon visiting your website root page? Gantry 4 or Gantry 5? I don't see any issues reported on this yet... and it would seem that it would be widespread (here at least) if it was a Gantry issue

NOTE: this error only happens if the site is placed in offline mode. Site works fine if it is online.

Are you using Joomla's Offline Mode from the Global config or a 3rd party? Can you try disabling all 3rd party extensions and test?
Are all the sites the same RocketTheme Template? Which one(s)?
If you go to your Gantry 5 Dashboard and to Outlines > System > Offline... can you take a screen shot of your Layout Manager? Zoom out... just get the first few sections in the screen

- Out of curiosity I went to some other sites that are using different developer templates and found this is a Joomla thing and not specific to RT templates. I am using the global offline in Joomla, not a third party tool. I will take this to the Joomla forums now because clearly this is not template specific. Sorry for the false alarm...
