    • Hi there!

      New to Gantry, been using T3 and WARP for years, but when I saw Gantry 5 in action I had to purchase a sub and have a look.

      One of the things that is so easy to do in WARP is video background.. second of a Job, poster support. I see you have added this in Citadel, some questions

      1) is this particular type of particle now in general use in Gantry or is it specific to Citadel
      2) The demo is not clear, but can the Video backdrop go FULL SCREEN (no margins, fills the viewport)

      3) The form particle for Simple Forms is cool, is there a general FORM particle which works the same way but has an ACTION field for your own custom post location like a standard form

      And the BIG one

      4) I write custom components, and as I have used WARP for so long, I tend to use UIKIT markup. What kind of Markup does GANTRY have? I see I can enable Bootstrap, but Joomla boostrap 2.3.2 is SOOOO old. Cna I utilise Bootstrap 3 in Gantry (i.e is is enableable) or do we have a document for what gantry can do outside of particles.. OR can particles be used IN a custom component

      2. yes. On the layout of the outline, change the sections settings on either side of the section holding the video to remove the "fixed size" check. then the video willl take up more room.
      3. No. You could use a customHTML particle to add your own code or your could write your own particle using TWIG and YAML.
      4. As 3 above. You can use YAML and TWIG languages to write your own custom particles to do whatever you want. Both of these languages are plain text and they're much easier to write that PHP.
