    • Warn: this is just a frustration relieve post. I had no body to talk about this issue arround me :).

Is anybody suffering the same as I do with joomla updates. Yesterday they release v3.6.1 to fix some security issues, normally I do apply this kind of updates as soon as I can, so it took some hours to properly update all my sites, more time than normal because I had to figure out and solve by my own some problems they later announce here . After finally finished this morning, not even 24hours later, they come up with a new release. wtf?? why this is happening.

Maybe I shouldnt complain about joomla, but as the more I love GRAV CMS, the more I do not love to work with joomla.

I hope the RT team offers GRAV profesional templates soon.

    • Yeah, not only that but two of my sites white-screened after updates. Now I'm struggling to get them back working. It doesn't help that the automatic backup functionality with Akeeba is also broken with 3.6, which I didn't realize until I'd already created three backups of the same broken site.

    • You should take this up with Joomla on their site - it's nothing to do with RT.

Another tip: I always wait at least two weeks before applying any update from Joomla - let others be the pioneers that suffer the update issues.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Lol. Can't we vent a little?

Good advice on upgrades. It's so tempting to give in to the OCD and clean up the "upgrade available" tag on the admin panel!

Thanks for your good work, Mark.

    • Akeeba has released an update that fixes that particular problem, it came out very quickly.
