SOLVED Which image folder to use with Callisto?

Posted 8 years 9 months ago
    • Hi,
I am working with Callisto and I'm finding that in accessing images for my RokSprocket mods I am being directed to the root level images folder and not the template images folder. Is it OK to put all my image/s at the root level folder or should I change the path to the template images folder? And if I do so will this break anything already set up within Joomla? Does it make that much difference?
      Thanks in advance

    • I would use root level since this would mean that you can easily change template in the future and not have to worry about the location.

    • Thanks, that makes sense. It is interesting that the Joomla version 1.5 had the ability to dig into any folder from the Media section yet in v3.xx you have to identify the pathway. Still, as you say it sort of future proofs the media used in the site regardless of template used.
