SOLVED Error updating RT extensions

  • SOLVED Error updating RT extensions

    • Hi everyone,

      I am trying to update all extensions before upgrading a website from 3.4.8 to 3.6.x and the site keeps giving me this error:

      Update: Could not open update site #5 "RocketTheme Update Directory", URL: updates.rockettheme.com/joomla/updates.xml

      I have done the following to troubleshoot:

      - Made sure RT system updater is not installed on the site. It's not.
      - Checked on another installation and I'm getting the same error there
      - Tried installing RokUpdater (I have a local copy) to then uninstall it. I get a "strict standards" error and it won't install.

      Please see below screenshots of all RT plugins and extensions currently on the site.

      Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
