How to use menu item or article as button link in particle

- With the particle item buttom link, I don't see a way of using a menu item or article as the link. Is there a way to use something that is more dynamic than a full URL? Since my alias might change, effecting the URL, I'd rather designate a menu item or article.

I'm not sure I understand you but if you use the internal Joomla link (as shown in the menu item) rather than the SEF url it doesn't matter what your menu item alias is.

Ok, that makes sense. The only issue is that when I use that joomla link, the layout changes and doesn't retain the modules that I have assigned to that page.
This is the full URL I was using before which retains the module blocks:
kitestringhosting.com/~selfcleaning/inde...tent-test-menu-title
This is the joomla link shown for the menu item:
index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=24
which turns into this link when it is rendered and doesn't show module blocks:
kitestringhosting.com/~selfcleaning/inde...ontent/article?id=24

My sincere apologies - somehow I missed your reply.
That Joomla link is incomplete - you also need to specify the menu item in which to open that link with &itemid=999 where 999 is the menu item.
