How to use menu item or article as button link in particle

  • How to use menu item or article as button link in particle

    • With the particle item buttom link, I don't see a way of using a menu item or article as the link. Is there a way to use something that is more dynamic than a full URL? Since my alias might change, effecting the URL, I'd rather designate a menu item or article.

    • I'm not sure I understand you but if you use the internal Joomla link (as shown in the menu item) rather than the SEF url it doesn't matter what your menu item alias is.

    • My sincere apologies - somehow I missed your reply.

That Joomla link is incomplete - you also need to specify the menu item in which to open that link with &itemid=999 where 999 is the menu item.

      Regards, Mark.
