    VERSLA - e-commerce component

Posted 8 years 2 months ago
    • I am looking for an e-commerce template for a client and I am confused about the VERSLA template

Which e-commerce component it uses? virtuemart? This is not specified at the template's details.

I cannot also see the cart at the demo.

      Thanks

    • Versla uses "Snipcart" https://snipcart.com/ . It's mentioned throughout the docs http://www.rockettheme.com/docs/joomla/templates/versla

    • The template can be used without using snipcart? Can I use another plugin to accept payments? Thanks

    • Well, yes but I think you misunderstand what Snipcart is... it's not a payment gateway, it's an ecommerce platform that will use several different payment gateways. Snipcart is what you use to manage your products and stock within (and yes payment too). The particles included in the template use Snipcart (productlist and shoppingcart), so if you don't want to use Snipcart then you can't use those particles. So, then you would need to use an alternate ecommerce platform altogether (e.g. Mijoshop, Hikashop, etc) and these would then most likely need some custom styling modifications to make the consistent with the "look" of the rest of the template.

So, in essence the answer is yes, you can use a different ecommerce platform as it's not really a template matter if you choose not to use Snipcart.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thank you for your reply. I understand, now my question is if the client can select Paypal as PaymentMethod, log in and Pay.
