Hello everyone,
A lot has happened behind the scenes over the past couple of weeks, and I'm excited to share these updates with you.
WordPress PHP7 and Mobile Menu Fixes for G4 Themes
First, we've released a series of updates to our WordPress theme library, including:
- Corvus
- Acacia
- Spectral
- Paradigm
- Hadron
- Anacron
- Epsilon
- Lexicon
- Vermilion
- Osmosis
- Plethora
- Tessellate
- Nuance
- Chimera
- Ricochet
- Myriad
- Iridescent
- Sirocco
- Audacity
- Cygnet
These themes received some minor improvements, including bug fixes and PHP7 updates. Also, they received an important mobile menu fix that resolved some issues that affected some Android users.
Several Joomla templates have also received bugfix updates including mobile menu and RTL, including: Paradigm, Spectral, Cerulean, Praxis, Corvus, and more.
Flux and Supra Receive New Particle Options
By request from our users, we've added link button options to the big showcase particles on Flux and Supra. This includes the BG Slideshow particle on Supra and Slider on Flux.
Remnant Receives New Buy Buttons in its Audio Player

Speaking of member-suggested additions to our themes, Remnant has just received an update for WordPress and Grav that adds the option to insert buy buttons in the Audio Player particle. An update adding this feature to the Joomla version of Remnant is coming soon.
Upcoming Theme
This is probably the one most anticipated thing I have to update y'all on today. Here's where we're at.
First, we're expecting to have the base development portion of the theme done soon, taking us into what we call the sandbox phase where we all test and add content to a demo (RocketLauncher) version of the theme. Once that's done we have some internal testing and the general release ahead.
This theme is great for content-rich sites and we are working on a new feature that not only benefits the theme, but Gantry 5 itself. This feature will make managing and displaying particles on content-heavy websites easier.
This feature requires a little Ajax coding and a ton of support development which we're racing to get done.
It will also give your visitors a better browsing experience. That's important!
The theme itself is going to be another big one. Lots of moving parts in our demo, plenty of uniquely-designed particles, and a ton of new tools to use. While we don't have an ETA yet, the end is in sight and we'll update y'all as development continues. -

Sometimes though there may be unavoidable delays and we would rather release a quality product that rush to meet a hard deadline.
We are actively working on the new template as Ryan has said but we can't give any ETA.

As a goal, yes. As a guarantee, no.
As I've stated in previous threads on the topic over the past several months, we are dedicated to releasing templates as they are ready and not by some pre-determined artificial timeline.
Here's why.
If we released this template after 6 weeks, it would be pretty but extremely difficult to manage. Every time you post a new blog post or article, you'd need to manually update several of the particles on the front page. That's a chore, and one that we really don't want you to have to endure.
We also recognize that there are features that folks want in content-rich websites - especially where navigation is concerned. So, we're putting in some extra time developing a solution for that. This solution isn't just going to affect this theme, but G5 as a whole. This is a very positive thing, but it takes time to get right.
So yes... we want to release templates every 4-6 weeks. But we aren't going to sacrifice quality and features to do so. When we did, people noticed and complained, rightly so. The overwhelming request was for us to concentrate on innovating and creating themes that aren't carbon copies of one-another.
While we believe we never really did this, we were constrained by a time limit. We need to change that in order to give you products that are as easy to work with as they are versatile. -

No, other than to say we're working very hard on it. But we're not going to rush something out just to meet an arbitrary deadline, we'd rather get it right. Sorry but I cannot give you any ETA.

Ryan,
I like the new direction with these update posts, it gives better insight with what you guys are working on. It awesome that you guys are trying to push the limits to think out of the box and deliver something new. As you stated that this theme is based around requests from mulitple members of the community, can you give a little more insight on what the overall theme of this templete will be aim at?
