  • Gemini Template, site goes blank (error 500) after updating Gantry to 5.4.1

    • I updated Gantry from 5.4.17 to 5.4.19 and after that my page (rt_gemini template) went completely blank.

      Since I updated a number of things at the same time, I proceeded more carefully. Each update I made a backup first and only then updated the extension. When I updated Gantry the site went away.

      To make sure it was Gantry I updated everything else, including Joomla to 3.8.2 without any issues.
      Then I tried Gantry again and the site went blank again.

      Any idea what could be causing this?

      Server is using PHP 5.6.30 unfortunately. So that could be a cause. I am willing to move the site to my own server to see if it would work there, but if this is a known issue, I'd rather avoid it if possible.

    • Did you clear the Joomla cache and Gantry cache after the update?
