damir, thanks buddy,i managed to solve the problem chatting to hostgator who fixed the root folder, so now managed to upload gantry framework and metropolis template, thank god.
in cpanel i have also uploaded rocket launcher into the correct folder and extracted it, will rocket launcher now work or do i need to do something else? - D Polley

yes, i dont know why the rocket launcher zip file
wont upload in joomla. and i just updated joomla to the latest version. i need to make sure the carosel and other pluins in metropolis work so i thi need rocket launcher to be installed first. thank you once again damir - D Polley
