Rss and atom feed questions

Our website has been audited and showing a good number (320!) of 503 errors and dynamic URLs for atom and rss feeds.
Is this a setting in Gantry template that we can remove? We don't have a plugin or extension that is set to include any feeds, yet a good number of the pages are showing both feeds and feed url in the <head> tag of the page.
For example:
<link href="/products/product-videos/241-product-video-info/bulk-depalletizers-landing-page?format=feed&type=rss" rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS 2.0">
<link href="/products/product-videos/241-product-video-info/bulk-depalletizers-landing-page?format=feed&type=atom" rel="alternate" type="application/atom+xml" title="Atom 1.0">

I changed your article options defaults to not show feed links.
