    • Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to have modules come up only when a content item is viewed, and only for that item?

      Thanks,

      Stefan

    • Yes, but only when you directly link to that Content Item (you'll then have the Link in the "Assign to" field in the Modulemanager).

    • Ok, let's take this as an Example:

You have an Article called "All about Green Duckies" in Section1/Category1.

You can now go to your Menu-Manager and create a new Link in any Menu.
To do so, go to Menu(s) > and select a menu from the pulldown
There, click on "New" and select Articles > Article > Article Layout (Joomla 1.5) or in Joomla 1.0.x Link - Content Item.
(if the Article was a static Content Item in J!1.0.x you'd take Link - Static Content).
Now choose your Article and enter "Green Duckies!" (it's just an example, after all *gg*) as Name (or Title in 1.5).

When you go back to your Module-Manager now, you'll now have "Green Duckies!" as an Option in the Menu Item Link(s)-List (or "Menu Assignment" in 1.5).
If you only mark Green Duckies for your Module and nothing else, it will only be displayed, when you go to "Green Duckies!" from your Menu.
