Momentum template - substitution ?

- I have a Joomla 3 site using the Momentum template. I believe there is no Joomla 4 version of that template? Do one have to start all over with a new template or is there a template that is Joomla 4 compatible and can substitute this old template ?

None of the Gantry 4 templates work with Joomla 4. Neither do any of the old RT "rok" extensions either. You do effectively have to start over with Gantry 5 and a Gantry 5 template. There is no migration path from G4 to G5 as they are very different workflows.
Check out the demos (anything from Callisto onwards). Get a rocketlauncher package of your chosen template working first because G5 is a steep learning curve and it's much easier to edit the demo that do everything from scratch yourself.
