No I did not replace the file or did any other changes. Just put - fab fa-x-twitter - in the box of FA4.
Regarding the FA CDN I don't know. The 2 sites / templates are Remnant and Studius. - Let go of what we believe to be, to awaken to who we are...

- Hmmmm, I would guess you have some other Plugin/Extensions that's loading FA 6... I don't think Joomla loads FA at all... maybe? What Joomla ver?

I've been watching this conversation on my thread.
I can't get Alain's solution to work. The site that I've been testing on is using the Orion theme. I've tried with both Font Awesome 4 and 6. While using 6, I see it in the picker but it doesn't show up on the site. While using 4, I don't see X-twitter at all. I also need Tiktok so there's that too. I'd love to hear more.

So on Alain's site it's definitely something else that's loading FA 6... and it looks to me like it's a plugin/extension just called "Fontawesome Free"
/media/vendor/fontawesome-free/webfonts/fa-brands-400.woff2
You see it in the Picker?
Swap the woff2/ttf files with the ones I attached here previously and it should render... same for tiktok if you just use the "fab" code manually in the icon picker field - SEARCH the forum first! I confirm that there is a directory called /media/vendor/fontawesome-free
I checked by FTP and there is 3 folders and a licence file.
You may see the licence file (.txt) in attachment.
But I have no idea how this folder has been installed. If I check from Joomla admin plugin and module there is no fontawesome-free.
I just checked the /media/vendor/fontawesome-free/css folder and inside there is a file Font Awesome Free 6.5.1 by @fontawesome - fontawesome.com - Last Edit: 1 month 1 week ago by Alain. Reason: adding text

- I was incorrect thinking it was a plugin because I didn't see it on Joomla's Github but it is indeed packaged with their installer... so it's a core Joomla inclusion... I'm just not sure why I don't see it on some sites... I don't think Joomla loads it be default?? But I'm also not sure how (or if you can) to turn it on/off.
