  • Article Title Below Article Image

    • I recently upgraded a site from J3 to J4 and not sure I there ws a change to the Studius template but for some reason my Article Title, Category link and date all ar appearing below the Article Main Image.

Could I get some guidance on where or how this may have happened? The styling for the Title also changed compare to what's visible on the featured page.

      Thanks!

    • Maybe that's a Joomla setting to render the title after the image? Maybe you had a J3 override in /rt_studius/html/ that laid it out how you liked it? J3 overrides won't work (and often break) in J4+

Verify all your Joomla settings for articles. Verify what Outline you have assigned to load on the concerned article page (you can inspect your page code and look in the <body> tag's class list... outline-xx will show there as to the ID of which Gantry Outline is ACTUALLY loading) and check the Layout tab for how you have it all configured... sounds to me like you're describing content that's rendering in the Page Content particle which is 100% unfiltered CMS content, nothing that can be controlled in the Gantry admin

    • I have't done anything custom with the Page Content Particle the Layouts look to be default settings.

I don't recall ever wanting the title below the main article image so stumped as to where the layout change took place.

What does look out of the ordinary is the file name "default-2.php" inside /templates/rt_studius/html/com_content/article/

From what I can see the title below the image is appearing on all the layouts where articles are displayed.

I am wondering since the demo of the template has what I want is there a way to replace the affected file with the default one and overrite any customization?

    • Our templates will never include any article overrides like that. You can compare the /html/ folder in a fresh copy of Studius to see what the Theme includes. Anything else will be something you or a another developer custom added to your install. Further, if an custom template override was created for J3 it's unlikely it'll work properly in J4
