Getting Started: Using Rocketlauncher?

Hello all,
I just signed up yesterday - Joomla and everything about it are completely new to me. But I love your templates and want to jump right in. I downloaded Synapse with the Rocketlauncher for Joomla 1.5 (I havent installed Joomla yet on my server). So how do I get started from here?
Do I just upload the files in their respective directories and go to the administrative area to run it or how does that work?
