Joomla /templates not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!

I validated my site, and it came up with 9 errors.
Jamboworks came up with 22
validator.w3.org/check?uri=www.jambowork...ype=Inline&verbose=1
Joomla.org kicks back 15.
I'm not sure how important this is, but it's good to stick to the standards?
but is this related to the template or joomla itself?

- I think you'll find it comes from invalid content that is produced by joomla/mambo. Read the accessbility statement at the bottom of the joomla.org website.
