Hi,
recently my mail account gets more and more spam via the contact form of my J!1.5 installation. I don't understand why the developer did not include any spam protection at least in the new 1.5 release at all but that's another discussion.
Anyway is there a way to add at least basic support for captchas in the native contact form? Is there an appropriate extension available? - cu,

- One option is to ditch the contact form and use a form extension that comes with captcha support.

Do you have E-Mail cloaking turned on?Yes, I do.
I now dropped com_contact and uploaded dfcontact with com_securityimages (SI) support. Due to changes in SI 5.x dfcontact does not work any more properly with SI.One option is to ditch the contact form and use a form extension that comes with captcha support.
I managed to change (with the help of others
)the source of dfcontact to get SI running again. So I've solved this task yesterday ;D
