It appears Virtuemart released thier stable ver for 1.5 so you should be fine there.. I would just check the other extensions you plan on using and see if they have 1.5 vers. If so you should be fine with 1.5 otherwise go 1.0 since there is alot more stable extensions at this time. But this is just my 2 cents.

- Thier newer ones should be. Just look in the download section for each template and you should see a 1.0.x and a 1.5 versions listed if they have one

- The only thing I don't like about 1.5 is how it shows the text in new browser tabs.

- Either the May or June Rockettheme templates are expected to come with VM template packs.

What do you mean by virtuemart templates.
Like Bonus Templates or Club Templates Made For Virtuemart.
Also today has been a bad day.
1st I installed 1.0.15
2nd I installed vm 1.0
then 1.1 came out so
3rd I installed 1.5.2
4th I installed vm 1.1
then 1.5.3
5th I installed 1.5.3
6th I installed vm 1.1
So I've installed like joomla like 3 times and its sucked. lol - Rocket Theme Rokker

Keep your chin up just look at it as experience. Soon you will be able to pump out many sites in a day cause the install will become second nature.
Thanks for the heads up too on 1.5.3 just started a site using 1.5.2 yesterday. Time to go upgrade
