Christos, I am not RT staff and haven't heard any confirmation whatsoever.
My saying that May or June would be Vm templates was just based on the fact that Andy has said (publicly as well as in PM's) in the past that RT would release VM templates/template-packs once VM 1.1 was released.
Makes sense that a VM template comes out ASAP as that is the "final frontier" of Joomla template design for RT.. it's the only thing they haven't done. It would complete the package.

Well matching admin backend templates would REALLY complete it
