      I also want to open this up to the tools used for development of css and the associated layouts.

      For example:
      Top Style Pro (Tool has a nice CSS level validator)

      Hey Thomas. i clicked on the link and it has a wealth of information.

      I wanted some advise as a novice, what i should learn, and what i should know about.

      Maybe a list of the sites you visit and why.

      That would be helpful, if it's not too much trouble.
