How Would You Set Up This Menu System?

    • I hit a road block with a new membership site i'm developing.

I need to have two different mainmenu systems.

The first system would be what guests see when they come to the website

The second system would be what members see when they log into the website.

Here is a model image of the menu system I need to develop:

How would you properly set this up?

It's also important that when a member logs in, they don't see the same menu the guests see.

The members need to see an entirely different menu that would be up top in the "Mainmenu" area

Incase you're wondering, I'm using the new RT Template "Hyperion"

Does anyone know how to achieve this menu system funcationality?

    • Dig through the pro members section. I believe this was answered pretty well there.
    • Say no to Internet Explorer 6.

    • High Level - you'll need to create a separate menu and then assign only the member content items to the Members Menu then assign the guests content to the guests menu. Also, you'll need to use something to determine who is a member and who is not. There is a free component you can use at joomla.org that should help you.
