- The google map component has been updated to 2.6 Beta available from com-google-maps.blogspot.com/ . The good news is that you no longer have to alter the body tag but remember to remove the old tags before you update and remove the code that you added to the ie.js. I'm testing it now and the IE error is no longer appearing ;D. One word of caution back up your info and markers, you just might have to re enter the info.

Yes! It appears to work right out of the box now! It solved all the issues I have had with this and any other template!

- What a feaking nightmare this component has been with these wonderful templates. I installed version Google Maps API 2.6 tonight and it worked with my RocketTheme template pefectly, no complex workarounds anymore. I was up and running with a map in two minutes. The is GREAT news. I had given up on being able to use this fantastic component some time ago.
