    • Hi,

I think Any may have mentioned one but I'm having a hard time findong one that works in CGI mode.

I'd like to install a PHP Accelerator on my server. I have many Joomla sites on my sever so I think it will reduce my recource load if I can find one that will work with PHP in CGI mode. I have tried mmcache, eAccelerator and APC. I think there was one more but these are the ones that installed but PHPinfo() would display Disabled. I would later find that it was because of Apache being be compile with PHPsuEXEC. This put PHP in CGI mode. I though about pulling PHPsuEXEC, but this breaks all the scripts on the server that read and write to a directory, Joomla CMS sites sonce now PHP would run as nobody. I tried it for about 10 minutes and had to go back to using PHPsuEXEC.

Does anyone have any thought on Tuning a server with many Joomla sites?
Or even better know of a PHP Accelerator that works with CGI mode?

Sorry for posting far off topic. I'm throwing a dart here.

      Thanks,
      Mike
