Hi All, I am building a website for my photography business i am using joomla 1.5 & the hyperion template, the idea is to have a private gallery for each of my customers, does anybody no a module or pluging which can do this? or would an ecommerce option be a better idea (create ecommerce section with login only pages).
Any help would be great.

there are a few galleries out there that allow for a "general" site wide gallery,, but then also allow for each member to have their own gallery,, and further they can decide if that gallery is public or private,, and some even go further and allow private or public on each upload.
the situation is that there is no real PERFECT solution for each persons situation,,,,some need more solid solutions than others as far as performance... some need community builder some dint...so it is also dependent on what other needs you may have.
but.....given that it is image heavy photog site you are building....AND you need private or public or per person gallery I would concider a more robust gallery that ties into Joomla like Coppermine. It respects user privledges set in joomla, it is robust and actively developed, can create private galleries for each customer, you can set up various other features in coppermine for purchase or what ever through its plugins etc etc etc
check the Joomla.org site for bridge that ties joomla and coppermine together and follow the directions carefully.
