    • Hello, I've been looking for a whois module that checks to see if a certain domain is free or taken. I have looked at the extension site on joomla.org but havent found anyone that would work well on the left side on MetaMorph. Does anyone know of a site that might have this module?

    • I think Shape5 put one out recently.

      If you find one, I suggest not using it. These services often query whois servers that monitor your searches and will steal your domain if you don't register it within a few minutes of searching.

      I shouldn't tar them all with the same brush; but i've been bitten once... and when you get a reeeally reeeaally good idea for a domain, once is one too many.
