hi all ..
ive been working in joomla for almost a year now .. and i saw alot of nice ideas concerning joomla and its future plan .. but never came across professional games component.. like the ones in facebook ..
why ?

There used to be a chess one...dig a little deeper. On my crashed hard drive I have a copy of it :'( - unfortunately I have a lot of things on that hard drive! Anyway...
UPDATE - I just did a search ---> webscripts.softpedia.com/script/Modules/...Chess-7280.html ; Check it out there...worth a shot.
Also, maybe someone can pick it up again and keep the project going. If there is no one supporting it now.

Prince Clan Changes
I have removed the forum and downloads section. I do not have time to continue to modify or provide any support for the chess or recipe component. The SMF searchbot had been updated. All three are available elsewhere.

so version 0.7 is the latest ? and the vulnerable one is 0.8 @@ ?? yea this component looks good but as u said there is no update for it .. and i cant seem to find the patch for it .. although im still searching .. hoping i will find it

Posted 16 years 8 months ago- after reading alot or reviews .. i dont think the component is usable .. other than its vulnerability .. it seems to be slow .. have alot of bugs .. yea it seems that some1 has to pick it up and keep the project a live. .

Have you done a search for Chess Games and/or software that you can hack yourself? I'm about to do a high school site that will have to cover a broad spectrum...so, umm chess club is a must - I just haven't figured out what to do for the Band Club? Hmmm, maybe Band Camp diaries? Nah, that could be trouble.
