RSS hyperlink in IE7 not working

To get visitors subscribe to RSS on my site, I've added a big RSS symbol/picture and linked it up to the RSS feed URL on my site. This works as a charm using FF, but apparently not in IE7. The link in not "clickable". Are there any security restrictions on a standard IE7 installation that should prevent this from working? Pasting RSS url into IE7 url-field work ok.
