- Wasn't there a template released which featured monslideshow which is a commercial flash addon with a discount for rt customers?

- The problem with JomSocial was with the license as far as I remember, not with that being commercial.
  Probably this extension is GPL.

- Theres a free gpl one by the same developer called K2. Doesnt have as many features.

- Having seen the template - this discussion of the inexpensive blogging component has no bearing...it is a great template. Just like Mynxx was a great template on its own.
  
  As for the debate of a social network template...I still say - make a V2 of Populous for CB over jomsocial. So, ha - there.
  
  I am right there when they say - "When Jomsocial releases a free addition...then consider it for templating" or create a V3 Populous which includes both cb and jomsocial features when jomsocial has a free addition.
