Hey Andy and Team RT,
Dominion and Gantry 2.0 are two amazing accomplishments and you have much to be proud of. It's obvious that you guys were really under the gun to get it released this month.
I hope you guys and gals know that we all have the utmost respect for everything that goes into releasing a quality template each and every month and "on time".
That said, when we chime in on here it's because we're all very excited to see how you are all going to raise the bar yet again. It's not meant as an effort to have you release before you're ready.
To quote a 70's commercial "We will sell no wine before its time"
Don't let us here in the peanut gallery or any other thread make you rush to a release. We can wait, it builds character. Actually I think it build friendships in this thread!

Personally I do not insist in this "always release on the 1st day of the month".
I would say within the first week of the month would be soon enough ...

I second Henning - should you suspect that an additional day of bug smushing on your part (one persons) would spare weeks of bug smushing on our part (smushing to the 94.86832980505137 power), by all means ignore my contributions to the peanut gallery.

Okay wait - if not the first, but the 7th - is all the same. About 30 days from the first to the next first or about 30 days from the 7th to the next 7th is still about 30.
They, Rocket Team, have to set some deadline - it just happens to be end of month, before the official release month of the template. This gives them play in case they have issues.
A million pounds of feathers and a million pounds of gold still weight the same. So, it is a mute point...but yes, usually after they release it, what ever day that is, you should wait a bit for bug squishing!

The deadline of the 1st from what I understand is self imposed by Andy. RT consistently puts out their templates on a very predictable schedule, which is more than you can say for the other clubs.
That said, many people have come to "expect" and if it's a few hours or days late they bitch like some guy in another thread.
All I'm saying is that people need to chill, I can't help but feel that the RT team was pretty hard pressed to get this month's out with the holidays and all.
I'm not referring to most people in this thread since I think we all understand and just like "taking the piss" (another UK term).
This is more bitching on my part about other threads I've seen but didn't want to post there and create a firestorm,
So anyway....is Feb ready yet? Can we have a hint? Is it there yet? - My Sites:
