- I am also hoping for a release today!!! Can't wait to see it... i'm personally looking for a more community themed template this month, one integrated with jomsocial. Would be nice to have some preset styles for sleek and clean and a couple a little more grungy or whatever.... maybe we will see this come out in the future.

This is Just My humble opinion, but you will never see another Jomsocial Template come from these guys... Too many changes and updates, and no standard code being used, so I dont think the communication lines are good enough coming out of the Community based components to get good templates.
I would like to see more professional sites, but I dont expect it until VERY late today Mountain Time, or lunchtime tomorrow.. but I have no idea.. - Send moderators PMs ONLY if they request it.

- well it should be about time to release the real deal.... we know it has to be as good or better than crystaline because that template really stepped it up notch as far as features and look and feel and ease of customization goes. One thing I find the most when working with joomla templates is the fact that sometimes the preset styles just aren't what I'm looking for or they only have part of what im looking for. It would be nice if rocket theme could create some sort of style builder for each of their templates, so you could easily change the images, colors etc.. of the template without having to go and edit and search for css code etc.

I'd like to see their "Template Name Picking Process!" Like how do they come up with the names.
Also, I predict this template will have Green Frogs in the Demo. (I know I say that with every template, but hey, one of these days I just might get it right)

New base template for JomSocial
To make matters even more exciting, we have been commissioned by Azrul to create a new base template for JomSocial, which I (working closely with Azrul’s team) will be starting next week.
Our goals throughout the project will be:
Dramatically slim down the xhtml & css
Ensure maximum flexibility
Standardize the naming conventions
Create a base library of reusable classes
Remove any inline styling & javascript where possible.
Optimize the overall performance
Make sure the entire template is 100% semantic and seo optimized
Make sure it passes both xhtml & css validation
So I’m sure you’ll agree it’s going to be an exciting couple of weeks and I can’t wait to share the fruits of our labor
so perhaps light at the end of the tunnel ...
