I have to say all these new features makes me want to dump WordPress for Joomla. I mean, the new Voxel theme is basically a DREAM for what I want to do with my site.

Should I wait for WordPress release or is it time to Joomla this?
come into the light! Joomla is the only way

    • So cdavis, have you seen the new template?

Can you give us a hint or one word to get us all going. Like "colorful" or "roksprocket" or "awesome" or anything. :)

      Thanks bud.

    • Is there going to be a Powered by Gantry or RocketTheme logo at the bottom? (Like every other template)

      Haha
      Come on guys.

Something to tease us, like saying it will be compatible with Joomla 2.5 or it will use Gantry or something silly and obvious like that.

I'm three fries short of a happy meal right now.

    • We could do a single pixel preview... :)
This requires the RT RokPixelViewer to be installed to see it.
That component does require php5.x and above.

    • I think it's about time we had a sneak peek available of upcoming templates.

As a busy developer I'm always looking for the latest and greatest for my clients needs and choosing which template to use on upcoming sites is quite often very difficult.

I belong to 5 clubs and 3 of them offer previews either soon after their monthly release or a week before it's due. There is nothing worse than starting a project for a client and a new template that would have been better suited comes out.

For example I'm starting a hairderssing/salon/spa site today and am going to use Shape 5's new template. I'm going to be gutted if Rocketheme's latest release would suit better.

Even if the preview/description were limited to members only.
Doesn't have to be a full demo, just a screenshot and a quick few words about what type of site the new template would be best suited for.

It would certainly help me plan my workflow and schedule.

I am with you on the 5 clubs. I use them all but 75% of my sites are RT based sites. The rest are mostly YOOtheme or Gavick. I only have 2 Shape5's and 1 IceTheme in production.
    • Thank you,

    • You could develop the RokTimeWarp component & instead of just previewing the one pixel we could warp forwards to see a live full preview, a special component for Developer members only! :cheesy:
